Complain addressed to the Ombudsman for payment treatment for seniority at work for State Police employees

Honoured Ombudsman,
Albanian Police Union is engaged in the defence of socio economical rights and interests of State Police employees.
In this framework the Union notes with concern the infringement of the rights of State Police employees reflected in the juridical acts related to their treatment for seniority service.
We want to notify you as follows:
in the article 88, point 4 of the Law nr.9749, dt.04.06.2007 ” For State Police” it is said that ” The State Police employee benefits all the special other supplements over his salary as well as all the remunerations benefited by other employees of public administration.”
we have presented this concern to the General Director of State Police and to the Minister of Interior but up to now no answer at all.
This salary on seniority service benefited by all the employees of public adminstration is not given to police employees since 2003 resulting that the police employees are getting 13% less for a period of 9 years.
We asking for your intervention using all the legal means at your disposal to the solution of this problem.
